Choko (Sake Cup)

Having a thin and highly transparent Shotoku Glass as its base, the Choko has been produced resembling the image of the mountain ridgelines and the ocean waves of Miyagi, expressed with graded colors of Tamamushi lacquer. It has a smooth and gentle touch which goes well with GINJO type of Japanese sake.

“Tamamushi Lacquerware” is a Sendai-born urushi lacquerware that features captivating colours and gloss that reflects light. It was named “Tamamushi (jewel beetle)” since the beautiful colours that change their tones according to the degree of light resemble the wings of the jewel beetle. 

TOUCH CLASSIC chose black colour as the base colour as it suits any lifestyle and fits naturally into any setting. The "Sumac-Black' is a deep black colour extracted from the Japanese sumac. You will find multiple colours emerge from the dark surface when you take a closer look.
