The fine world of KITOWA, woven by porcelain that fuses techniques developed over a long history with a new sense, and sophisticated fragrance.

KITOWA Scented Candle is made of "Arita porcelain" which was established more than 400 years ago in the early Edo Period and is the origin of Japanese ceramics.

224porcelain, develops the porcelain candle container, is located in Hizen Yoshida in Saga Prefecture. While using Arita porcelain technology as a base, they are developing a ceramic according to a new manufacturing technique that does not exist elsewhere.

By blending the scent of geranium and iris to the sophisticated fragrance of Hinoki, ornateness is expressed which gives a luxurious Japanese scent experience. Adding sandalwood to the base as an accent draw out the depth of the fragrance.

This candle is awesome!
You can smell the rich woody scent as soon as you open the box! Love it!

Created in 2018, KITOWA was developed using natural oils extracted from traditional Japanese wood and introduced for the first time as a home fragrance. This bold and innovative perfume, unique in the world, comes from a combination of rich and exotic scents.

Hinoki (Japanese cypress), Hiba (Aomori cypress) and Kusunoki (camphor tree) used for KITOWA, have all been chosen for their excellent durability and have been used for many years for the construction of wooden buildings.

The fragrances of these comforting woody scents have a noble presence, deeply rooted in the life of the Japanese. Very rarely introduced abroad, these trees are unfamiliar to people who do not live in Japan. KITOWA contributes to the creation of a new time that perpetuates the heritage of Japanese incense culture, with a 450 year old incense history.
