Ku Paper Incense brings together the incense-making heritage of Japan’s Awaji Island and traditional washi papermaking. Shaped like delicate leafy stems, this scented paper offers two ways to enjoy fragrance: leave it unlit for a subtle scent, or burn a detached leaf as incense.

Tuck an unlit leaf into a wallet or card case, place it in a glass container, or slip one into a letter for a fragrant finishing touch.

Choose your scent

• Tea Tree: Clean and cooling.
• Lavender: A soft, relaxing fragrance.
• Geranium: Delicate, rose-like sweetness with fresh green notes.
• Citronella: Fresh citrus with green notes.

How to use

Enjoy without lighting

Gently detach a leaf and place it in a wallet, card case or glass container to enjoy its subtle fragrance.

Burn as incense

Place the included mat on a heat-resistant incense dish or ashtray. Light the tip of a detached leaf, then gently blow out the flame so the leaf smoulders.

Rest the smouldering leaf on the mat and allow the fragrance to unfold.
