The KITOWA Octagon Incense Plate brings the heritage of Arita ware into a simple architectural form designed for everyday incense rituals.
Made by 224porcelain in Ureshino, Saga Prefecture, the piece draws on the long tradition of Hizen Yoshida porcelain while keeping the expression clean and contemporary.
Each plate is handmade, so subtle variations in colour and form are part of its individual character.

How to use
Set the included incense holder in the center of the porcelain incense plate octagon, insert the incense into the hole, and set it so that the ash falls on the plate. The hole in the included incense holder is made to match the diameter (thickness) of the KITOWA incense, so if you use other small diameter incense, the ash may fall out of the plate without being properly inserted. So please be careful.
