Three Pieces Sake Set

A set of a Katakuchi (Lipped Bowl) and a pair of Choko (Sake Cup).
Having a thin and highly transparent SHOTOKU Glass as its base, the Katakuchi and the Choko have been produced resembling the image of the mountain ridgelines and the ocean waves of Miyagi, expressed with gradated colours of Tamamushi lacquer. The distinctive design brightens the table, adding an elegant touch.

“Tamamushi Lacquerware” is a Sendai-born urushi lacquerware that features captivating colours and gloss that reflects light. It was named “Tamamushi (jewel beetle)” since the beautiful colours that change their tones according to the degree of light resemble the wings of the jewel beetle. 

TOUCH CLASSIC chose black colour as the base colour as it suits any lifestyle and fits naturally into any setting. The "Sumac-Black' is a deep black colour extracted from the Japanese sumac. You will find multiple colours emerge from the dark surface when you take a closer look.
