This is an incense burner of "Arita Ware", the origin of Japanese porcelain, which celebrated its 400th anniversary. 224 porcelain, which worked on the Incense Plate Octagon, is a pottery brand located in Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture. Ureshino is famous for hot springs, Japanese tea, and “Hizen Yoshida porcelain.” The designers bring together the historical skills of Hizen Yoshida artisans with innovative Japanese design. Hizen Yoshida potteries have been producing high-quality porcelain in various regional styles for centuries, making its craftspeople some of the most versatile around. 

Each Porcelain (ceramic) is handmade, so there are individual differences in colour and shape. Comes with an incense holder designed to be put in the centre of the plate.

How to use
Set the included incense holder in the center of the porcelain incense plate octagon, insert the incense into the hole, and set it so that the ash falls on the plate. The hole in the included incense holder is made to match the diameter (thickness) of the KITOWA incense, so if you use other small diameter incense, the ash may fall out of the plate without being properly inserted. So please be careful.
